Air Jordan is still flying - Exclusive Infographic

As we start to get back to our “normal” lives, after the festivities of the Holiday Season and the welcoming of a new year, many of us are holding on to past icons and idols to get all the inspiration necessary to fight our way off a boring and sometimes narrow-minded routine. (Ok, I really, really hope your are not one of those people that don’t quite enjoy their work and feel that a lot of things in your life have to improve. But if you are, looking at some great story might give you the boost you need to make those changes).

So, when it comes to inspiration and lifetime achievements, no matter what you do, or what your plans are, it’s quite possible that you’ll find a terrific story in Sports.

Personally, I’m a huge admirer of someone that has an amazing - and epic - sports career, but, above all, a great life story, that is hopefully far from reaching it’s end. And, before all the criticism comes, let me be clear: a true inspirational figure, for me, is not someone “perfect”, that never failed. It’s a person. And every person makes mistakes, have their flaws, and struggles with daily situations familiar to so many of us.

That said, I’m sure a lot of you will understand why I picked Michael “Air” Jordan as an inspiration. And, really, is there anything else to say about him that hasn’t been said already? I guess not, but even so, with a great help from Brazilian design Fábio Abreu, I decided to take my chances and dedicate this first 2012 exclusive infographic to the ongoing importance of Michael Jordan - even after he retired.

We focused on the businessman side of the best basketball player of all times,  along with some stats an facts of his NBA career, knowing that one infographic could never paint the all picture of someone that changed the Game forever, and touched so many people around the globe.
